Acupuncture
Acupuncture awakens the "body" to optimal possibilities and healing on a systemic level.
***************************
Originating in China, acupuncture is a system of healing practiced in East Asian countries for thousands of years. In recent decades, acupuncture has grown in popularity in the United States as a holistic approach to the management of diseases as well as for the management of optimal health and well-being. Five-Element Acupuncture is a vital system of ancient wisdom within Chinese medicine. It is a comprehensive system of healing that provides individuals with an organic and effective means of restoring balance on a mind-body-spirit level.
Acupuncture is the insertion of filiform needles used to stimulate specific meridian pathways in the body to bring about a desired change. Each acupuncture point has the capacity to evoke some aspect of functioning that has been buried, stagnant or lost. The qualitative effects of acupuncture are directly related to the body’s qi (chi). The term qi is defined as one's life force... one's vitality. Thus, the aim of acupuncture is to harmonize one's qi while restoring the individual to their original nature.
Acupuncture has been effective in treating severe chronic conditions, pain management, emotional traumas, reproductive issues, sleep disturbances and a myriad of other disharmonies.
